Release Schedule (SUBJECT TO APPROVALS!) - We would like to let you know our direction over the next few releases and as stated above, these are subject to approvals. We are taking on board suggestions of movies without steelbook releases but we need some sort of foot in the market before doing so. However, some of those titles have already been brought up in a meeting today, so hopefully we can progress further with those soon.

This schedule is planned to have full Exclusive SteelBook designs (Not just flipped artwork exclusivity). All would feature the same setup as Shaun of the Dead; Full Slip, Lenticular & Blu Box.

Good choice of art

Debossed title but it might be too close to the top

As I already stated you need to wait until Shaun's in our hands before preorder for this and take our money and also don't put this and the mummy up for pre order the same month - realistically it should be one at a time as your new to us.
And when ones sent out put the next one up and so on

Cool, don't mean to come of negative with that post but I just meant you need to space them out etc and not get customers to pay for 2 or 3 releases before we have them in hand.

There is much competition that are miles ahead that have earnt our trust. If you get what I mean

Manta do it right IMO - one release at a time and pre order don't go up for the next one until the current one is finished and sent out. Same as blufans, nova, kimchi to a degree. My point is don't become the next FAC lol they are too eager, greedy and over saturate the premium steel market

But that art is very cool so I hope the studio give the OK

If you could have fit both characters on the front and put an embossed police badge on the rear that would have been awesome.

I don't think one character alone should be hogging the cover. It was a team effort.

Would be like Will Smith on a Bad Boys cover without Martin Lawrence!!

It seems like your gettin ahead of yourselves EB, planning too much which could be the actual reason for the delay on Shaun. You've already commented on releasing a certain amount each year is not sustainable and to me looks like you might be biting off more than you can chew, hope I'm wrong

I'm not entirely sold on that artwork unfortunately... the contrast between dark on the front and light on the back is a bit jarring IMO. I do like both designs individually though! I also agree with the previous comments about the title being too high... that would definitely make it difficult to emboss, and possibly also deboss. Hopefully the overall design can still be worked on!

Yes me too. I hope it was their last delay, but at least they always let us know ahead, they are good in communication. Points for that EB

I recall film arena having silly delays but everyone still buys their products despite moaning. It isn't going to be any different with this retailer. I for one just want an immaculate pristine product without defects. Take as long as you need.

Good art is always nice but if you don't like the film then it becomes another no buy

Respectfully that's just my input. I love this film and haven't got a steel for this but the artwork has put me off

I think EB is referring to the slips/lenti(s)/box set that'll also be part of this release.

Looking over the mock up again, I think I'm in agreement with those who've pointed out the lack of cohesiveness between the front and back covers. I don't mind the character shots used, but the disparate backgrounds certainly leave room for improvement.
