Looks thoroughly charming, colourful and child-friendly and will happily pick up my copy for GBP 9.99 maximum although will seriously consider it in a "2 for GBP 25" at Amazon - along with PIXELS - if they ever decide to include it.
Certainly less attractive if not in brilliant glossy white and in silver/bare metal as seen in this image:-
. . . and in this unboxing which reveals the bare metal better:-
Now, nothing against bare metal or silver . . . but feel that white would have been the way to go with this one . . . without the least shadow of a doubt.
Hate to say it but the German MediaMarkt edition is decidedly superior to ours and not just because it includes the 3D and that front cover is bloody lovely and can be appreciated in the unboxing:-
. . . as is the French edition with the same artwork - with DVD but without 3D - where the top class image is kept within the frame and replicated perfectly on the lenticular magnet .. . or in other words a perfect example of how the lenti can add something special to a steelbook and not spoil it with horrid alignment issues and disjointed characters' limbs as seen on some recent U.K. examples - most notably on the THOR lenticular steelbook :-
.. . and it could be argued that the inside AND the back art is better too . . .
Well, it is included in the Amazon "2 for GBP 25" promotion so seriously considering picking it up along with PIXELS - in the same promotion - to my knowledge the best price either has been so far since they were released.
