How long have you been collecting Steelbooks?

My first steelbook was 300, loved the artwork, was ages before I bought my second, 2012. It is only really in the last 6 months or so that I have become obsessed with them. But an expensive hobby!!

My first one was the UK Star Trek (play.com exclusive) and then Uncharted 2 (PS3 UK steelbook). Since last summer, I've kind of jumped in the deep end to a certain extent and now have circa 70 steelies out of 320+ blu-rays.

It's far too addictive (and fun)!

My first Steelbook was when i am legend came out. And it was pure accident as I didnt know anything about steelbooks. i just thought the cover looked cool and then little by little i started noticing them more and more!

Clash of the Titans is my first steelbook and i've been collecting since. Expensive hobby but fun. The thrill of getting one without a scratch or a dent.

mmmmm i think it was 4 years ago probably? when i was in austria i ordered a simple bluray from HMV (10000bc) and when i open the package i saw a steelbook!!!! love at first sight

Since 2003 the same year steelbooks were introduced. Underworld (2003) was my first DVD steelbook.
