Not familiar with the director as much as I am famliar with his antics...
My favorite: he was named as one of the judges of the Cannes Jury one year, and remarked "well, it is better than sitting home and masterbating to pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal"....right before Jake Gyllenhaal was named as a part of the jury as well.(!)
