Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.

Guys, I would like to point out something possibly worthy of interest: looks like Plain Archive isn't being plain with us .

Indeed, the steelbook seems to display "I Saw the Devil" at the top :

Out of safety I might order the regular full slip. It will go well with my previous PA exclusives, and it's really classy too.

I agree. Real quality and care taken, with the collector in mind, i think. I very much look forward to
following this studio and hope for many outstanding releases over the coming month's. Zavvi are
good some of the time, but maybe if they slowed down a bit and concentrated on a unique product,
they wouldn't feel so much like an also ran when compared by many serious punter's to most of the Asian
'Full Metal Jacket' heavy metal artwork out there.

I think it has already been mentioned but the front cover of the PET slip (the picture of Choi-Min Sik) is actually the back cover of the steelbook and the back cover of the PET slip is the front cover of the 40page booklet.
I know that may sound a bit confusing but hoped it has answered a few questions.

I must admit that these PA variations are shi* hot!! Definitely going to be grabbing one of each

PA have nearly tempted me to start collecting non-SteelBook slip covers so they are obviously doing something good!
