The ones I ordered were dispatched yesterday. Love these! I'm clearly in a minority haha. I'm currently working on a project that involves film iconography and these show that off perfectly and that is the whole point of them.

Paid it. Then got straight on Amazon.ca chat and they refunded me $27 CAD. Which was good of them - but it should state clearly that you'll possibly get custom charges.

I don't know why you'd think you wouldn't. It's from outside of EU, so you have to pay import tax on every package with value over the designated limit, which two of these steels together clearly is.

Never in 13 years of adulthood have I ever been charged custom tax/charges

I really really am disappointed of these wave release because the artworks are totally not fit to the steelbook world. They are so abstract and simple hand drawing, if the movies are cartoon, they maybe fine. I doubt all these artworks are from fan arts which cost no money or cheaper to distribute. IMO, concrete and original artworks are more preferable for most collectors.

They should release more quality steelbook just like Blufans and Kimchi, post cards, 2 discs set, internal artwork are the standard, they worth the money.

I got a dent on my scarface, I like the image on it but the finish is quite streaky. Maybe the black don't help. The other colours look a little better.

Seriously? You must be extremely lucky then.

In UK the import limit is £15, so every package over that amount is subject to import VAT. The only time you don't have to pay it is when the customs guys let it through because they can't be bothered to open up the package. The amount of packages they just "let through" varies from country to country of course, but if this is the first time you've ever been charged, you must've been born under a lucky star
