The Dalek is just a wall clock. I saw it in a shop window and thought it was pretty detailed. His dome lights and eye stalk glow when it goes dark. I also have a Comic-Con Tardis bobblehead.
The tv backlighting is a simple set up I bought online locally. Here are a couple more pics;
