    Awesome news! I wonder though if they face the same restrictions as far as distribution in the US as XM does.

    Yup, the same.

    BUT, I know a guy... ;)
    it ain't cheap... BUT (again), the quality seems there like XM...

    Yeah it does! I have no problem paying for something that really excites me (easier than something that's $400 and doesn't) so as long as they are great designs like the XM Boba, I'll probably bite.
