Loved it personally, although it scared the living s**t out of me ( got a genuine phobia of clowns due to the original movie, no lie)

But like you I think edition 2 is better.

Would prefer a WEA with better art though....

I was going to cinema with some friends (we all loved the book), had very high expectations but the movie didn‘t affected me (us) like i hoped. Nevertheless a good movie but not THAT great

Maybe it's just me, but almost everytime I see a movie after I have read the book...I seem to walk away a little disappointed. I'd say it's because there is just no way to incorporate all of the complexities of a novel, into a movie. So, something has to be cut, or changed (or both).
And conversely, any movie I have seen and really liked..and then went and read the book..just enhanced the movie for me.
Usually...after some years pass, I tend to like the movies that I was originally disappointed in, better.

I sent an email to Manta asking if they had any plans on doing something for this and they replied saying they don’t have any plans to release this for their exclusives.

Understandably it may change (or they could be saying it to avoid any leaks) but at the moment this could be the only premium unless Kimichi release something.

Any thoughts on who else could possibly do a WEA for this?

Well, theoretically anyone COULD do this. Kimchi tends to just surprise with no warning, while Manta tends to communicate in advance. Kimchi is really the wild card here, but they are quite backlogged in terms of already announced steelbooks, so who knows.

Aside from Rogue One, the other possible Kimchi Exclusive/Collection are Beauty and the Beast & GotG Vol 2. They haven't announce anything in a while.

Yeah but when did you watch it? I watched it when I was 10 years old, hence the phobia.

Granted it hasn't aged well, but it scared the s**t out of me at that age.
