I've ordered this because firstly, its a great movie and secondly, I refuse to buy and own the horrible Peter Jackson version. Terrible CGI, dragged on far too long and the story was totally destroyed by his wife who never watched the 1933 original (still the best).

Unless you can supply proof of this- I find it highly unlikely that Fran Walsh never saw the 1933 KING KONG.
1) It is her husband's favorite movie
2) No Screenwriter is going to set out to write a remake without seeing the origunal.
