I've never been a fan of Army of Darkness for some reason. I love Bruce Campbell but this movie really doesn't do much for me.

Drag me to Hell (has some comedy bit's in there,pretty funny + gross out parts)
Liked this movie,Has good ratings also on Rotten tomato,over all it's a pretty good one

so far,these two movies are probably the best newest releases I've saw in time for Halloween,check them out if you can....
I have not seen Dead Snow that has being out forever already,the one with the Zombie's,i heard that one is good also too & i'll check it out once it hit's Blu-ray since the ratings are quite good

I have Trick r Trat coming from amazon. I gotta say, hands down, the best horror flick I've seen in the past 10 years is Let the Right One In. It might very well oust An American Werewolf in London as my all-time fav. I haven't seen much out of Hollywood that impresses me lately but The Strangers was surprisingly good. I didn't expect anything from that flick but it was great. Others I've seen lately that were good include:

Dead Snow
Frantiers
The Children
Inside
The Eye (not the Alba one)
Martyrs
el Orfanato
The Host
A Tale of Two Sisters

Martyrs was quite an experience. I left not knowing what to think of it. The first half of the movie is an awesome balls out horror movie then it takes this crazy turn in the story and I found the rest to be very exhausting to watch. The ending was great tho. I left it thinking "there I've seen it. but i doubt I will ever want to see it again". but as time goes by I think I'd like to give it another watch, haha.

I don't watch a lot of new horror films, they can't live up to anything we grew up with, the only one I thought was decent was Friday the 13th because nothing has changed, he just kills kids that are having sex. *shrugs* lol

after watching Trick r Treat,it reminded me a lot of the Tales from the Crypt type story line with each story that intertwine's with each other


the old grandpa at the end with his shot gun was cool..and his crazy self..."It Smell's like a Dead ***** back Here!"..lol..

Friday the 13th was an alright movie,I like that part where she gets stabbed in the head while in the water and Jason is walking by like he doesn't notice her and BAM...A knife to the head and Teh tit's bounce up.

OK so as you all know I am a HUGE horror movie fan so I was just wondering out of my top 20 of the decade which one was your fav. I know there maybe a few you've never heard of but hopefully you can pick anyway. If "other" please specify what you liked.

Haven't seen most of those so I picked The Descent. SAW was a great movie, but not really horror to me.

I also picked the descent. one of the reasons why i loved it was because the environment made the fear, not just the freaky monster things. one of the scariest moments of the film for me was when she got stuck in this small passage in the cave. that would freak the HELL out of me!

i might have picked 28 weeks later, as i thought that one was better than 28 days later. JMHO

I forgot to put a vote in myself, haha. I absolutely LOVED "Let the Right One In". Altho some wouldn't consider this to be horror I still put it in the category because of it's Vampire storyline. This film was not only the best horror of the decade IMO but perhaps the best film I have ever seen. I just love it. The Descent was way up there for me as well but hard to say if it comes in second. Out of all the films on the list I have seen The Descent the most times so that's gotta say something about it. I am very claustrophobic so it's the tight spaces that make this film for me.

I also totally forgot to put Paranormal Activity up there on the list. Alot of people are split on this one tho. Remember, these films are the ones I consider to be the best of the decade, not necessarily the best for the general public (ie. Blair Witch...i hated).

28 Days later not what i would call a scary horror but for some reason just gets me love the move seen it so many times. Sci-Fi and Horror are my fave style but sadly its also the style that has the least amount of top notch films.

There are some top notch horror flix if you look beyond N.A. and the U.K. Another I forgot to put on the list that would be better than some of those listed would be the French film Inside...or even Martyrs altho that one kinda freaked me out more than scared me.
