You can still order direct, not sold out there.
Thanks for the heads up! I stumbled on that the other day and decided to grab Life and a few other titles to ease the shipping burden. My order won't ship until Star Trek Beyond drops, but I'm happy to have secured a copy.

Looking forward to seeing the film. I've successfully avoided all spoilers up to this point. Let's see if I can keep it up another month. :ohno::LOL:

Received mine already, looks pretty neat.

Steelbook itself is the same as the rest of the world, so no pictures of that.

Now that I think about it, it looks rather weird how some parts of the image is misalligned.
Please, check for the vertical bend in the upper right corner on the front

Slip looks decent

That's how the actual art is with the ripples

My take on the ripples: only read if you seen the film
When the alien is damaged by fire when Reynolds burns it you see it heal itself and a few ripples come from the alien so i assume the artist took that away from it and applied it to his work

I think it was ok film, I really liked the first half, but in the second half it took a nose dive when
the other space shuttle arrived from Earth and the japanese astronaut just goes and ruines everything.

And the characters sometimes acted different than earlier.
For example:
In the scene the alien is holding on to the japanese guy and the space shuttle is about to come loose, the woman screams for him to hold his hand. Shouldn't it be the opposite, so the alien gets vaccuumed out into space. At least the japanese dude realizes this and tries to take it with him.

So there were definitely some contradictions in the movie.
It was okay space thriller, not exactly great but good.
I also liked the alien's design more when it was small, later in the movie it's just a typical tentacle monster.

EDIT: Now that I have seen the movie, I don't get why the slipcover has a single astronaut as art. I think that slipcover would work better with Gravity.
