Bought the fullslip. Got the payment confirmation by paypal but didn`t get the mail with the confirmation key for my account. Tried it a few times. But no mail from nova. Is that normal?

I really want the full slip but can't get an account setup. Still awaiting confirmation email.

I registered at the same time as placing my order but never received the confirmation e-mail. After 4 hours of waiting I got fed up and decided to do something about it.

I eventually got round this by attempting to log in to my account using the e-mail address and password I had already registered. It wouldn't allow me to log in but allowed me to request that a further confirmation e-mail be sent to me. I did this twice. After the second attempt, I received the confirmation e-mail virtually straight away and used it to log in to my account.

Wow. Interesting to hear this from 2 movie aficionados. I watched ZDT by myself late night. Started it at midnight and was engaged from start to finish. Never even had tired eyes. I thought it was fantastic and would definitely watch it again.

Lone Survivor... I havent even seen a preview for it. Total blind buy but based on what people say, it sounds like a great flick.

This movie may mean a bit more to folks from the USA seeing as it's based off of true events. To others not from this country it may be just a cool action flick.

Do you have a 'junk' folder? The emails from Nova are very amateurish (they're from a gmail account with a one- word subject line). Check the "junk" folder.

Kathryn Bigelow just doesn't get the respect she deserves. Super-talented director IMO.

Not interested in buying the steelbook, but funny thing there's already scalpers on ebay asking $200 + for the very limited lenticular edition quantity 3 lol I doubt this steelbook will be that sought after. Well maybe to some, but it won't reach the $100 + lol

I am in the same boat: watched Zero Dark Thirty Twice and loved it both times. And will definitely see it again.

Lone Survivor, on the other hand, was extremely disappointing to me. Lots of action, but seemed more like Commando or Rambo style rather than "based on real events", IMHO; and if it was not based on the true story, I am pretty confident it would be regarded as a really poor movie by most. Would have to agree with the critics here at IMDB who score it 60/100, while users give 7.6/10 (ZDT, on the other hand, is scored at 95/100 and 7.4/10 by critics and users, respectively).

For the aforementioned reason, I passed on the steel. But have to agree, the package looks really nice, so I am still considering getting a copy for trading purposes (probably not though).

It isn't regarded as poor by most. Actually not even close. Most actually like the film. No movie that's "based on true events" is %100 accurate depiction of the actual story. This film rocks which is why there was an nova edition created for it. This film deserved it.

Comparing it to Commando and Rambo was not the film I watched at all, as I hate those 2 films and really enjoyed Lone Survivor.

I expect this to be in stock for a while given how many other versions of this are available on steelbook elsewhere already.

yeah i loved the movie... but "based on true events"... even the book it's based off of is greatly exaggerated.

I went to bed passing on the release as I hadn't seen the movie, wasn't interested in a war steelbook(although love movies based on real events) and also didn't want to deal with any server issue waking myself up early...not fund of war movies, so never was excited to watch it. But when I woke up and some copies were still in stock, decided to watch the movie(managed to get a copy) and I can say that I loved it, very touching and powerful movie. So I bought myself a copy as I believe it's the nicest steel of this movie on the market. I really hope that Nova will get better and better in terms of issues...but I got myself a copy without aggravation which was nice.
