Really cool sticker.

To be honest, I'm disappointed. I don't like how the color has turned out (orange-red).

Two more pics and a question...

... am I overly fastidious or is the offset between print and embossing an actual flaw in the product? Compare the outline of his west and the letter "M" with the embossing/print in the second pic, the shifted title in the first. Frank answers are welcome.
I think it looks good.

You're spot-on about the offset of the embossing, though. I wouldn't find it objectionable if it weren't for the fact that it makes the right-hand edges of the text fall outside of the embossed range.

I like that slips have been getting more special treatment these days, but I suppose that opens up more opportunities for quality control issues. Always a bit of give-and-take in this hobby, I suppose.

Nice pics. Regarding the color, what did you expect? To me it´s pretty accurate to what is on kimchi website. I like that orange.

Not sure about the embossing though, it looks litlle bit off, but I think it´s not going to be so visible from distance. Let´s wait for photos of other members If it´s the same on every FullSlip or not.

What did I expect? Not really sure, maybe not such a bright orange-reddish color. Got more accustomed to it, though. I find it a little weird, however, that Machete's chest has this reddish tint while his arms are as white as paper. Maybe I just don't get this style. ;)
Yes, you're right about the 'bossing issue: let's wait for some more Ninjas to post photos.

Thank you for your comment.
I'd feel silly to complain about this at Tony, especially because it's not easy to capture in a photograph. On the other hand, it really bugs me and shouldn't happen on a premium release.

Just got my lenti and full slip B in today. Both look pretty great in hand. The lenticular image itself is solid, with decent depth and crispness. The back of the lenti slip is flat and glossy without any other treatments. The titles on both sides of the slip are embossed, and the whole slip has a pretty good weight to it despite being an o-ring. The booklet in the lenti feels pretty cheap in hand. It's the same type of flimsy paper used for the promotional inserts that get stuck into amray releases. Mine also came torn/rippled, which is an indicator of its quality.

The lenti isn't bad, but full slip B is definitely my favorite of the two. Gobs of embossed bits and contrasting glossy and matte areas make it a real stunner in hand. Additionally, the treatments extend to all sides of the slip, which gives the whole package a more premium feel. The booklet with this edition is quite nice--nothing out of the ordinary, but head and shoulders above the lenti's booklet.

The steel itself is decent. A debossed title would've been a nice touch, but it is very glossy and feels heftier than the average steel (I'll throw it on the scale to confirm if I have time). Unfortunately, both of my steelbooks have tons of dust specks underneath the gloss. This seems to be a pretty common occurrence when using such a heavy gloss--especially from steels coming out of Scanavo's factory in China. Perhaps the heavier gloss catches more dust particles, or multiple gloss coats means more opportunities for dust to settle before drying. One steel also has a number of pock marks/micro dents, a few paint chips, and a fine hair trapped underneath the gloss. I'll seek a replacement for that one, but won't hold my breath given my previous experience with a damaged Winter Soldier steel and slip.

Here's some shots of slip B. I'll try to post some pics of the lenti and steel later if I have time.

And here's the front and back of the poster/steelbook holder that slides into the lenti:

Okay, I'll be honest: For the life of me, I couldn't determine if that was Danny Trejo's chest or the chest of one of the actresses from the film. I waffled back and forth before eventually resorting to a google image search. :ohno:

Mystery solved:

The lack of a massive chest tattoo should've been a dead giveaway!

You mention the pock marks/micro dents on the steel. Perhaps appropriate as those are also features on Danny Trejo's face.

Haha I was thinking exactly the same . But even though it is a woman´s body, it does not look pretty, it´s an ugly photo :p. But on the other hand, we don´t buy a porn magazine here, so I would say - fair enough :D

Got my Lenti a few minutes ago, and I must say Im very happy with this choice, it´s absolutely stunning :coffee:

Btw lesson learned regarding multiple items in order. I ordered this one together with another two Kimchidvd items and even though I chose Invoice Option : Mark as "GIFT" and Write Value USD 25.99 on shipping label & invoice, they still charged me 18 EUR import tax those bloody customs , but how did they find out? They must have check it thoroughly even on internet about these premium editions, coz there is no way to find out a real cost just from the package.

So, better spend 3 Euro more on shipping and avoid Import tax next time:stop:

1st mistake: You should have marked as merchandise
2nd mistake: You should have had it marked way lower like 18€

There is option to change the value.
Just click on the 25.99 and edit it to any value that you want

OK good to know.

But you know, they must have find out the real price anyway, because otherwise I wouldnt get charged 18 EUR Import tax from total price of 25,99 USD.

That's interesting @Hereticz
Usually when customs get suspicious they demand a receipt, such as the PayPal invoice, to be sent/brought to them so they can calculate taxes. They don't go ahead checking themselves. At least that's how it's done over here.
