Just got my lenti and full slip B in today. Both look pretty great in hand. The lenticular image itself is solid, with decent depth and crispness. The back of the lenti slip is flat and glossy without any other treatments. The titles on both sides of the slip are embossed, and the whole slip has a pretty good weight to it despite being an o-ring. The booklet in the lenti feels pretty cheap in hand. It's the same type of flimsy paper used for the promotional inserts that get stuck into amray releases. Mine also came torn/rippled, which is an indicator of its quality.
The lenti isn't bad, but full slip B is definitely my favorite of the two. Gobs of embossed bits and contrasting glossy and matte areas make it a real stunner in hand. Additionally, the treatments extend to all sides of the slip, which gives the whole package a more premium feel. The booklet with this edition is quite nice--nothing out of the ordinary, but head and shoulders above the lenti's booklet.
The steel itself is decent. A debossed title would've been a nice touch, but it is very glossy and feels heftier than the average steel (I'll throw it on the scale to confirm if I have time). Unfortunately, both of my steelbooks have tons of dust specks underneath the gloss. This seems to be a pretty common occurrence when using such a heavy gloss--especially from steels coming out of Scanavo's factory in China. Perhaps the heavier gloss catches more dust particles, or multiple gloss coats means more opportunities for dust to settle before drying. One steel also has a number of pock marks/micro dents, a few paint chips, and a fine hair trapped underneath the gloss. I'll seek a replacement for that one, but won't hold my breath given my previous experience with a damaged Winter Soldier steel and slip.
Here's some shots of slip B. I'll try to post some pics of the lenti and steel later if I have time.
