This Tuesday, we’ve got a Japanese double feature that will warm your heart and then cause it to e.x.p.l.o.d.e.

Pablo Olivera takes us to the serene countryside where wondrous forest spirits reside with his newest print inspired by My Neighbor Totoro. Pablo’s print makes perfect use of the widescreen format with everybody’s favorite form of transportation, the Catbus! Studio Ghibli movies offer so much creative inspiration, and Pablo is channeling that magic with this print.

Morgan Girvin’s ode to Akira features Neo-Tokyo on the edge of calamity, as an infamous red bike rides heads into the heart of it all. Morgan’s art is packed with details and architecture and color, enough to remind us of the first time we ever saw Otomo’s Akira on the big screen.

Pablo and Morgan’s prints will be available for purchase on Tuesday (6/13) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
