My apartment is not huge by any means, so I have my small den for computer gaming and my living has my home theater. So here's what takes my time on a daily basis

Yeah my only guess is perhaps your cpu speakers he saw. *shrug* cause you have more than adequate speakers for an apartment. (to which you mentioned)
