How do you get behind the wheel of a car that's being transported through the desert? Watch our EA Play gameplay trailer and find out how the crew gets things done.

The crew (Tyler, Jess and Mac) have learned that The House are transporting a car equipped with a new piece of technology that may be a key component in bringing them down. This calls for one thing: acquire the car, get hold of the tech and dent The House's plans. The Highway Heist is one of the set piece moments that takes place within *Need for Speed *Payback's single player campaign which follows the story of Tyler, Jess and Mac as they set out to bring down The House.

The cheesy story and cringeworthy characters puts me off this... same with the previous game. I do love the idea that you build your car up from scrap though and there's some pretty cool customization! Will keep a close eye on it to see if any new trailers/clips can convince me to pick it up.

playing through the last need for speed now and cheesy isn't the word for the characters they have in these games.they are so fa beyond that. It's at times laughable.

As far as the customization goes, the games does an OK job but nothing special.

Haha yeah, I only tried the beta and even that was pretty unbearable... there also seemed to be more cut scenes than actual racing/gaming if I remember correctly.
