So I got my quarter slip from the Winter Sale today. The first thing I saw when I unwrapped the steelbook was I massive scratch in the front artwork:



Why would they send out such a copy? I mean ... come on! It's freaking obvious! And it's a quarter slip! If it were in a full slip, it might have gone unnoticed by someone who collects sealed copies (not that this would make the slip-up by their QC department any better, of course). I'm really unhappy about this right now. There's always something wrong. Man, I'm getting tired of this.

That sucks, I would contact nova with a picture they should be able to send you a steelbook replacement as this release hasn't sold out yet.

I know what you mean this sucks I am now worried when I unwrap premiums, I am always scared of Quality issues, I mean come on this is unacceptable

This is one of my Favorite Steelbook, absolutely Insane Finish, Great release for such a well deserved film

Have you actually opened it? Looks like it's just scratching on the sellophane to me.....

No, but it definitely is a deep scratch. I can feel it and it doesn't move when I carefully move the cellophane with my thumbs. You can even see right down to the blank metal

That’s not good, they shouldn’t be sending out stuff in this condition. I hope you can get a replacement sorted.

After seeing all the great pics decided to try and get one off the bay to go with my hmv version. Went for the lectingular as it just looks so different with the colours and the design. Will post pics when it arrives

Thanks, typical isn’t it I did a search and could not find it on novas site. I only paid 30 inc postage so it was slightly cheaper than nova

This is a stunning release for such a great movie. I’m usually not an O-Ring person but this O-Ring Lenticular Slip is simply awesome. This Steelbook is part of my favorites from my collection.
