Along with Interstellar and Whiplash this was my favorite film of 2014. I have yet to get a copy of this so this will be mine!

These are my top 5 movies of 2014.

All of them, except Coherence, have special releases now. Either I have pretty good taste in film, or FilmArena/Mondo/Nova really gets me.

Unlike many I found the film just a touch above serviceable. Jakey G was good here but as with The Machinist, I found the physical transformation of the lead loomed large over a fairly predictable script and such a change deserved a better movie to go along with it. As a rule then I tend not to buy 'okay' movies for the sake of packaging... but I'll hold out until I see the final product as this could be an exception to my rule.

Loved the movie & Jake Gyllenhaals performance.

Day 1 purchase for me (although that may carry over into day 2 - dependant on server capability )
