HDN is developing new guidelines and procedures for group buy hosts that are "new" to group buy hosting on HDN.
Having said that, we do a number of checks on our end to vett these people out and to confirm that they have a successful track record of buying and selling not only on this forum, but also other marketplaces.
As a result, if you see a group buy host that is hosting their first group buy, or is new to hosting, HDN may impose restrictions on this host.
These rules and guidelines are still being developed and may change in the next few days or weeks, but in order to continue to have a SAFE and WORRY FREE group buy marketplace for members here, we'd like to ask that you also think about these things when you request or pay a group buy host.
In summary, requests to new hosts may be as follows:
1) limits to the number of payments that can be taken at any 1 time
2) limits to the number of items allowed to be shipped or requested
3) insurance on all items sent, including tracking.
4) updating staff and trading moderators on progress of the group buy.
-new hosts may be assigned a moderator that will work with them through the gb process and shipping items out.
I hope all this information makes sense, and please remember that you should always protect yourself and your funds when working with members that you have never interacted with before.
