Yep. Looks bad. My mum used to read me the books and I used to watch the show all the time. Loved it. Even had a Peter rabbit toy.

It's like they have tried to copy Paddington which actually worked. Plus Paul King directing gave it something quirky (the man who directed the trippy and weird mighty boosh to series)

Saw this today with the family... oh well, gotta admit it was way funnier that I imagined. Mini Drum truly enjoyed.
Also, the numerous "cliché" of the original images (from the cartoons & books) are REALLY a nice nod for us who grew up with those fur balls.

Seriously, a great realisation.
