Thanks everyone. The sound is awesome....no complaint in that department, however, I'm debating if I should give the Sony to my brother so I can make an excuse to buy the Sony HX929 version....

If I play it loud enough, it shakes my shelves and my steelbook with it LOL...

I'm using 12AWG cable from monoprice with their banana plug

by the way, if you need good quality cables for cheap...I highly recommend monoprice. You'll hear a lot recommendation from other forums.

5.1 mate. I was happy with 5.1 based on the size of the entertainment room.

If I added 2 more speakers, then it would probably cost me another 2K for 2 more speakers....

you dont even have to go to the Theater anymore
i got my System at a great level that i rarely go to the movies, though i didn't spend as much as you did. Again Great set up

it depends on the movie....the crowd, the cheer, the laugh, the silence together is fun

however, it is nice not having people chatting in the movie, someone kicking the back seat, etc.

so I enjoy the 3D movies and sound at home most of the time... this speaker setup up should last me for 10 years

Are your gears under the center speaker in the stand's drawer, or you use a sparate stand for the electronics (player, AV receiver etc.)?
