One of the rare times when newly commissioned artwork easily trounces original poster artwork (IMO) - this time by PAUL SHIPPER.

Main selling point for me is what looks like possible wraparound artwork on all of these upcoming Second Sight steelbook releases (SUPER MARIO BROS. (1993), FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR (1986), SHORT CIRCUIT (1986), PIRANHA (1978) with "Piranha" and "SMB" artwork courtesy of the same artist.

Speaking about SECOND SIGHT STEELBOOKS and this bunch of newly announced so-called cult films (and clearly they've been keeping one eye open directed at Eureka and the pre-order demand for their "cult" films . . . "Fright Night" in particular)
Now wondering how long it'll be before we see steelbooks for some of the other Second Sight films already released here in the U.K. but not in steelbook packaging such as these gems -
THE BROOD (1979), FROM BEYOND (1986), COLORS (1988), the thrilling ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 (1976), the charming GREGORY'S GIRL (1981), the side-splitting MIDNIGHT RUN (1988), the emotionally charged MISSISSIPPI BURNING (1988), THE NINTH CONFIGURATION (1980), the haunting PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK (1975), the gritty SOUTHERN COMFORT (1981), POSSESSION (1981), STREETS OF FIRE (1984 ), CREEPSHOW (1982), the seldom shown early Clint Eastwood Jeff Bridges vehicle THUNDERBOLT & LIGHTFOOT (1974), for those who like musicals ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS (1986), QUEST FOR FIRE (1981) and of course the emotional rollercoaster that is BETTY BLUE (1986).

I certainly wouldn't say "No" to a steelbook for the much better (IMO) 2010 remake.
