Yeah I have the 4000 series, they are definitely sweet set of receivers. the apps can even control the different zones and change inputs on the fly. They have a network control too, but that's a bit clunky still.

I have just noticed something strange on my Onkyo HT-R160
Like most 7.1/ 7.2 receivers it up scales 5.1 to 7.1 however, I have now noticed (whilst watching Reign Of Fire) last night that it is now showing input 7.1 PCM as well as output 7.1 PCM and the rears definitely do sound discrete. It seems to be happening with all my 5.1 PCM discs (Cars, Ratatouille, Face/Off etc. I for one am very happy about this occurrence.
Has anyone else noticed this with their Onkyo's.
