New Trailer (released Sept. 04, 2015):

First Teaser Trailer (2012):

What’s up, movie fanatics?! My name’s Kenneth Livitski, but most of you around here know me by my alias of ‘Tridon’. I’m opening this thread today to help spread the word about something that’s very near and dear to my heart to an audience that I know will appreciate it.

The something that I’m talking about is QUIVER, an independent horror film that was shot in the city and surrounding areas of my hometown, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. My role on QUIVER, and the reason why I’m here talking to you about it, is that of screenwriter and producer. Since this film was my brainchild, I want to spread the word to show how proud I am of it.

QUIVER completed shooting last fall and as of right now, it’s currently in its post-production stage. The film follows a couple who, after receiving the co-ordinates to an isolated camping destination, decide to go on a hiking trip to rekindle their relationship and celebrate their anniversary. Once they arrive, though, they soon realize that this area isn’t as isolated as they once thought and that something unexplainable awaits them.

The film was directed and produced by Still Frame Entertainment owner Trevor Zurkan and features a stellar cast that includes Robert Beck, Lisa Marie DiGiacinto, Andrew Paulsen, Dave DelBen, Tracey Stevens, Randy Feaver and more. Another thing about QUIVER is that it lives up to being considered a real independent picture.

This film was 100% funded by both Trevor and I. Since this is the case, I've gone ahead and opened a fundraising campaign for the film at IndieGoGo. All funds raised will go towards helping us finish post-production and to stay on schedule for our summer 2012 release date. If you donate, you can receive a cool perk, all of which is explained on the campaign page. If you’d be interested in donating and helping out, please check out the campaign and watch the video that's included on its page.

If you’re interested in learning more about the film, feel free to check it out on Facebook, IMDb, the Still Frame Entertainment Web site or at my own personal Tumblr Blog. Even if you can't donate towards the film, we still very much appreciate the following and support. Now, before I end this message, allow me to leave you with the link to the official trailer of QUIVER. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks! :)

Quiver is celebrating an anniversary this weekend, believe it or not. This weekend will mark 5 years since our first day of shooting. Since such is the case, director Trevor Zurkan just left an update on the film's Facebook page:

Hey everyone! So a little update quickly before I get back to cutting the NEW trailer for Quiver!

We've been doing VFX almost the entirety of this past year. We've had people come and go and it has been an amazing experience, with some talented individuals. I am really trying my best to get this to the quality that I know everyone wants it to be... plus it doesn't help that I am anal about everything. (My team will attest to that!)

Regardless that the release has slipped a bit, the film is looking hands down better and better and we are getting several shots a week accomplished now. So I am hoping that picture lock will be at the end of June to mid-July. With that being accomplished, I will then be working with some more talented individuals to bring the film to life with the amazing music we have in store for you and I am hoping to get this finished & 100% ready to go by Hallowe'en!

In the meantime, we say Happy 5 Year Anniversary to the first weekend we shot Quiver! It was miserable, pouring out, and we had to cancel the shoot. We would later reconvene the following weekend to get what we couldn't! Just like the shoot, with post production, I want the best for the best experience for everyone.

Last year I released the latest trailer in September... as it received some amazing feedback and everyone was loving the way it was shaping up... I was still not happy with a few shots in it. We have since then, made them even better! This is an example of the work we've done! .... If you notice the before and after, how before the lighting didn't suit the scene, the legs didn't have a rim light, hairs were unseeable. Now! Everything is fixed and looks absolutely amazing!

This is the standard to which I've held my team. Has it caused delays... most certainly. Is it for the good of the film, you know it!

2016------------------------------------------It's going to be a great year!

Cheers,

Trevor and Ken

Cool photos, good to see you get involved with the boom too (I know you was sound too but I mean seeing it in a photo)

Do you make a cameo at all? Or background extra in the film?

Looking forward to seeing it

I was the fill-in for the character of The Hunter played by Randy Feaver. Basically, whenever you see him getting thrown or pulled around in the film, that's me. I took the abuse so the actor wouldn't have to. :p
