Watched all three of these over the past few days as a tribute to Peggy Cummins who starred in all 3 and died aged 92 on news years eve from a stroke. 3 classics that are as good today as the day they were made. Night of the Demon is available from the excellent French pressing, region 2 only. Gun Crazy again a french pressing only region 2 and finally Hell Drivers the UK Network full version available on blu-ray region 2 only. The USA version of Hell Drivers I believe is heavily cut.

Winchester 73.
Excellent Western but worth the admission fee alone for Rock Hudson dressed as a native American and for trivia fans this laserdisc was the 1st time a running commentary was used by a major star in this case James Stewart... If you can survive Rock Hudson going native it's a great film.

Bend of the River 1952
The start of as the TV comic classic Porridge said James Stewart's "Mean, Moody, Magnificent" period and also the last time James Stewart ever talked or worked with Rock Hudson again because he got a better reception at the film premier than James Stewart did. This was the German blu-ray I was watching.

A rare Western film in which Dana Andrews (Night of the Demon) and Brian Donlevy (Quatermass Xperiment ) appear together. Another German blu-ray

A local Sheriff has to keep law and order after a wanted criminal is sentenced to be hanged. Worth watching for a blink and you're miss it cameo by Clint Eastwood 9 years before he made For a Few Dollars more. Another German blu-ray
