The Vampire Lovers. Hammer's attempt at a Lesbian flick why back in 1970..... No bad but only redeemed by Ingrid Pitt chomping away on Madeline's Smith's breasts. I think there's a plot in there somewhere but for some reason I can't remember what it is...... and if anyone can figure out what the man in black was about, let me know!. The film drags in the middle but redeems itself in the last 15 minutes........... Not top notch Hammer by any means but agreeable....

Inferno 1953. 3D technicolor film noir directed by Roy Ward Baker (Night to Remember, Quatermass and the Pit). Superb thriller. Very effective in 2D. Sadly I'm unable to comment on the 3D version as I can't perceive 3D. I purchased it because I'm a fan of Roy Ward Baker. Won't spoil the story for anyone. This is a UK only release but it's all region. This really was a blind buy as this film has never been shown on TV and I'd never come across it on home video before And this film has had a proper serious restoration. Technicolor has never looked so good.

One Million Years BC. Raquel Welsh. That's all you need to know. Who cares about the rest of the film?

The Yangtse Incident (Battle Hell) 1957
Superb war film set in 1949 About a confrontation between the Chinese and British on the Yangtse river. Based on a true story and very very relevant to today's world. Watch out for a major role for Dr Who's William Hartnell.

Footsteps in the Fog (1955)
Won't spoil the plot. Just enjoy and a really meaty role for Jean Simmons and yes William Hartnell is in this one as well. Total coincidence
