If they do it like Thor it could look really nice, but I've not seen an HMV edition with that level of heavy matte finish for a long time now

They sure don't make them like they used to.

UK it was only one garrotting scene that was cut (trimmed by 23 seconds as far as I know) the rest of the film remains the same

That is a fair bit 23 seconds pal , never buy a censored film if an alternative import is available.

Yeah, I understand that. I commented after seeing the one the Canadian's got and I'd be happy if we got the same in Europe, that's all. I realize Zavvi probably have no real control over the matter.

It's possible will be the same gloss finish but USA and Europe/Asia are manufactured most times in different scanavo plants and this is why USA steelbooks with same artwork compared to Europe/Asia can end up with a steelbook that has different finish or other differences like embossing etc

Sometimes it can be the other way round Europe/Asia that has a gloss finish and USA get's matte

Hopefully it will be gloss finish just have to wait until in hand with someone to find out

Full gloss is becoming incredibly rare for WWA releases

If the finish is that black zero matte finish (like the first Rambo steel) with the spot gloss metallic red writing then I’ll go for this on a drop. Thought the film was great and that steel is nice but im in no rush at the moment
