Damn. One of my all time favorites passes away this morning from cancer that he had been battling the last few months. I'm sorry to say that I never got to see the legend that is Dio.

I never got into his music as much as some others, but I absolutely love his cameo in Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. I had to watch it again today after I heard the news.
Man, I have come very late to the party. I saw him in Newcastle (UK) on the Rainbow Rising Tour and still have the programme here. Tragic loss.
