Mine arrived yesterday as well. It's a great looking steel book, I love the back especially. I was very, very impressed with how good the movie looked when I popped it in. I couldn't believe it! It looks fantastic. When they cut to the news segments it looks dated but other than that the steel is perfection. The remake/reboot doesn't compare at all to the classic. It makes me so glad to have this steel in my possession.

After a bit of advice from those that have this steelbook if possible please?

I bought the original release steelbook but really want the new transfer. Do you think it is worth buying this remastered steelbook to replace the original or am I better off just buying the standard blu-ray packaging and perhaps put the disc in the first release?

I'd say keep your original and swap the disk if it doesn't cost too much. As much as I like the look of the remastered one, it suits the tone more for the remake whereas the original steel suits the original
