Anyone else think it's weird that they re-released the box set with only the first film re-mastered? I'd still buy the steels since I don't open them anyway, but I sure would love a fully remastered set.
Cool looking steel in hand - the remaster was pretty good actually but not outstanding - good enough to make me crack some raw eggs into a glass but not good enough to make me drink...

Not really. It's all about money grabbing. They've just remastered the original movie and decided to release it separately and rerelease the original boxset just replacing the original movie disc.

The risk of not waiting for a price drop and getting instead on Release Day
The other Fox releases that are selling at £9.99 (€12.49)
At least I managed to get them from AmazonUK on Release Day for £12.46

This bloody tapatalk app doesn't always update to latest post, I only noticed this when I put my post on!!
I was really hoping this was the first Steelbook for ALL of the "Rocky" movies and that future Steels would have the same theme (Rocky on the front, opponent on the back). But I suppose that's not happening? Also, is the picture quality on the Steel an improvement on the "Rocky" that was in the box set with all 6 films?
They May have found some old stock, it's sold out again now but hopefully you get lucky!
It might be a bit late in the game now, but are they going to release all the Rocky films in a steelbook as a set, or is it just a one off with the first film. A shame if not really, as going by the design, it looks as if they could of been quite good, by using a different pose for Rocky on the front, and the one he faces off in each film on the rear side.
