The lenti is probably the best alternative, PET slips are nice but no match for a lenticular, provided the effect is not flat and pops that is.

You've still much to learn, my young padawan.

If you want to open something, open a full slip. If you want to keep something sealed, keep the 1/4 slip sealed. And you will still be able to admire the steel itself while sealed ;)

That said, my j cards go directly into the trash...
Your post is both insightful, and all the more confusing....

wait.... Ohhhhhhhhhh Nooow I get it...... The reason people get 1/4s, is the reason people get steelbooks...to show off that you got a steelbook! I still think 1/4 slips are useless however... Why do I need a little piece of paper to tell me the name of the movie? I don't.... Trash!

Thank you for your wisdom!

I honestly think the PET slip seems more "right" for this kind of film and a lenti doesn't (not sure how to explain why I feel that way) and I actually prefer the postcards to the character cards only because they are scenes from the film and the character cards, while still nice, are more like baseball cards for a film. Still, while I'd probably lean towards accepting the PET slip and lose the postcards, I just can't NOT have the booklet, so the slip is going to have to be my choice. I usually gravitate immediately to a slip or lenti design, but this is truly a tough choice.
