Alright, I finally had some time to properly pore over the individual releases and snap a few pics.

The steel itself is a decent little matte number. The debossing is nicely done, and the red/black/white color scheme coordinates well with the full package. I never picked up the horizontal steelbook from years back, so this art is a welcome addition to my collection. I think it would've been a real stunner in gloss (EDIT: see Moon's custom gloss job above), but the studio wouldn't go for it, if I remember correctly.

The card stock on both slips could be heavier. I'd put it about on par with previous gen Blufans slips. The lighter weight is exacerbated by the fact that the slips themselves are so skinny. Beyond that, the treatment on both slips is quite good.

The full slip has gobs of spot glossed bits across the front and back. The quirky shirt artwork didn't do much for me when I first saw the mock ups, but it really shines with the treatment they've given it. The edges of the shirt have a metallic sheen, and the red, bubbly spot gloss on the title is especially impressive.

The rear art is slickly done, with the spot glossed image being debossed against the white frame. It gives a nice effect, as the 'holes' in the white frame give way to the image of Shaun and the glossy red background beneath.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the lenticular, but was pleasantly surprised. I think the chosen artwork itself has some inherit drawbacks to being used as a lenti, but it does allow for several clearly defined layers. Shaun's bat in particular offers a strong pop out effect. The various silhouettes of the zombie horde in the background extend deeply add great depth.

As for the inherit drawbacks I mentioned, Shaun's white shirt almost seamlessly disappears into Liz's blouse due to them both being so lightly colored. This flattens the layered effect between them, as Shaun should be pretty well defined as the central image of the foreground layer. The predominantly white background of the top 3/5 of the art also creates a challenge for realizing depth, but it's still there nonetheless.

I find judging lentis to be particularly subjective, but I'd rate the upper portion of the lenticular as average, transitioning into excellent as you approach the lower third. I think this bodes well for future lenti editions that have more wholly lenticular-friendly artwork.

The back of the lenti slip features a fair bit of 'bossing around the hand and cracks in the record. Not as impressive as the treatment on the full slip, but solid in its own right.

All in all, I believe EB is on the right track with their products. They are ambitiously designed and fairly priced. I think if they get these logistical issues worked out (and some heavier card stock), they could be right up there with the top premium shops. Hopefully, you all get your copies soon. :bag:

Well no dispatch email so far. I'm gonna wait for @howarmat to make his EB fanboy t-shirt for me as promised :woot:. I think that be more entertaining waiting for this than sitting here looking at the silence and 'unfulfilled' status since January :watch:

I was looking forward to EB Casino release but after reading this thread I dont think I'll bother. Hope everyone who's waiting gets an appropriate resolution.

Hmm I thought this steel was gloss so that's a bit of a dissapontment but hey ho

Anyway I finally had a dispatch late last night.
I also emailed them yesterday morning with a bit of a complaint about the whole situation and many other things like lack of comms since last Friday and how I've been patient and also letting things slide like the changes that have gone on and delays etc so I'm not sure if that's why I got a dispatch but then I also had a theory of how many were being sent a day and it kinda fits in with that so who knows and I also got a reply from EB.
I messaged them back just gone midnight and also got a reply to that after 1am so they are defiantly not hiding but why they are not replying back to some people is beyond me

I doubt I'll order from day one with the rest of the cornetto trilogy but would like to compete the set of films now this has been sent. But EB need to change and I told them with this being their first release I was letting a few things slide but even then it was getting a bit too much hence my complaint yesterday

Have to wait and see and it also depends on how everyone else is treated, I also said to them if they don't get a move on then claims will be filed from a lot of angry customers

Hope everyone's is dispatched soon but with a bank holiday and the small number of dispatches a day I can't see it happening

If EB were on here every day replying to every query (as they were pre-launch) people would probably still be giving out that they were spending too much time on social media and not looking after logistical issues!!

Which is probably why there not as active on here at the present.....

Well in my email to them I said even a quick copy and paste of the Facebook messages they post just to ease minds,

It would take 2 seconds of their time and they don't even have to reply to people, if they did that every couple of days then it shows they are not hiding and ignoring people

I've told them they dug themselves a hole by coming on here anyway and asking questions, asking feedback, replying to customers actively and to completely step away from that because they are taking too long with shipping looks a bit dodgy to a lot so they either have to completely stop with that or still be active.

But they don't have to reply to every query on here, just small updates every 2ish days would of helped

Also I'm still convinced around 5 are being sent a day and maybe 8 or 9 on both yesterday and last Saturday so with a small amount of orders going out they have ample time to respond on here. EB Are being quiet on here for obvious Reasons

I emailed them on Wednesday to ask when my order would be dispatched. Waited a little while for a reply. They informed me that my order was due to be dispatched on Friday. It wasn't. It still hasn't been dispatched.

Once again, you are not getting it mate. They said Friday but there are so many remaining Fridays in 2017. :D

They aren't replying because there is nothing they can say? Like what @Flloydo said 5 batches a day they are shipping these out. Obvious reason is financial issues. They only themselves to blame and put themselves in this position. The more they stay silent the more people get worried.

I think it's a bit premature to hear terms like 'financial problems' and 'ponzi schemes' bandied about.

Where is the basis of these claims coming from? Why is there a reason to think the company have financial problems just because a two man operation have delays in shipping?

As far as I'm aware Everything Blu has been operating long before this exclusive.....
