Lucasfilm have denied this today, apparently nothing has changed on the plans they had. I just hope they get that star wars doesn't need to put out 2-3 movies a year like marvel since (in my opinion) this concept only works for a few years before people will get tired. Star wars movies need to remain something special and great events to look forward to...i just hope disney understands this.

I think they see it as something to be milked, like Marvel. I saw an interview a while ago with Bob Iger who said they hope to releases 2/3 Star Wars movies a year in the long term.

I was so busy nitpicking the exterior art that I didn't take much notice of the interior lol. But, yeah... love it!

agreed it would be better though if people actually went to the cinema and saw this i enjoyed it but people had a knee jerk reaction to the last jedi and we are now ending up with this result.
shame because this is a good film and people have just thrown all there toys out the pram and not judging this film on its own merits, which they might find they actually quite like it

Apparently Disney have cancelled all planned Star Wars prequels because of lower than expected takings for this film. Talk about a knee jerk reaction...

That's not correct don't fall for the fake news youtube videos about been cancelled
It's still happening the new trilogy and other films already they have started pre production

I got the date from Zoom's twitter feed. Amazon have that date as well (though for the DVD) as do HMV .

I don’t believe the title will appear on the steelbook at all, just on the j-card.

I'm kinda digging the artwork to be honest... at this point I always have super low expectations when it comes to Star Wars/Disney WWA, so this is somewhat an improvement over what I imagined we'd be getting.
