Love the art (even it didn’t consistent with TFA)
*update 2D version with inside art...
Wow that's great, wasn't expecting that!
Looks great! Kinda bummed it doesn't match the others. Should've had snoke on the front.
Really hoping Zavvi's will be the same!
Cinematographic Process ARRIRAW (2.8K) (3.4K) (6.5K) (source format) (some shots)
Digital Intermediate (4K) (master format)
Panavision (anamorphic) (source format)
Makes sense to release this in 4K UHD
Well I've held off from ordering the Zavvi one just because they generally have the same steel as best, minus the differences in finishes, so may have to refer this as it looks great!
Be interesting to see what Blufans comes up with.
but doesn't match I - VII.... such a shame...
But .......but..........but what is Blufans going to use as the front art now???!!!
Is this artwork confirmed or is it still a mock up
My guess is Blufans would use this one
@zesty what ya think?
Would've liked Kylo in the front (best character in the sequel trilogy) but this is still damn good. Hopefully, Zavvi's is the same.
Since it has the packaging on it, and showing the back of the steelbook as well, I would guess this is confirmed.
I really like it, but picked up Blufans TFA so will have to patiently wait for their release of this. Will also be opting for whatever 3D option they will hopefully provide.
Wow first Thor Ragnarok now this, Disney finally using simple poster artwork for their Steelbooks. Does take the hype out of the Blufans ones a little though (certainly in this case anyway)
Surprisingly happy with this.
I normally detest recycled poster artwork on steelbooks-
But the current "style" of the Steelbooks for Episodes 1-7 is hilariously terrible- so I'm glad that they ditched it.
And these two posters are the best of the photoshopped monstrosities that the film has released.
Oh- I remember the days when Drew Struzan made the Star Wars Posters....
Love it bit obvious to those who keep am eye on the posters hey @Noodles but that's not a bad thing
Now bring on the continuity moaning that this now looks nothing like the previous movie releases
