I definitely like the look of this Steelbook, I just wish it had been able to drop in price before it sold out. Guess there's more demand for Stargate than I would have imagined. Maybe I'll find it (reasonably) cheap one of these days.

It was never going to drop in price it was Limited to 2000 Copies

That's why it sold out very quickly

Managed to snag one (of the two) that appeared on ebays Zavvi Outlet the other day - yet to arrive but am looking forward to seeing it in the flesh... or in the steel, so to speak :D

This information is not available anywhere but there will be a remake of Stargate with big names attached to it. This will eventually be a steelbook but it's in process of pre production.

Status: In Development
Director: Rolland Emmerich
Producer: Dean Devlin

Happy Stargate is getting come action? yes. Happy with Rolland Emmerich directing? no. Happy that they are rebooting their own thing and not doing anything in relation to the tv show history? NOOO!!!

Since it's in development further information I cannot provide at this time. But will gladly update once I can.

Not sure if serious or sarcasm but "This information" has been available everywhere since the end of May when it was first announced. No one knows if "big names" are attached. It will also be a Trilogy.

This thread is also not the place to discuss the reboot.

Interesting. I wonder how they came by so many? I recall this selling out very quickly i.e. within a few hours, and I ended up having to source my copy from the bay (can't remember how much for now, but not too bad if I recall).

Year later and down to 7!!

..I was just thinking about selling my sealed copy but given how many of them are available, I'd be lucky to break even. This use to be 'rare'.

Definitely could do with a reprint though.
