When this movie came out I was quite Taken with it. But having the UK and French steelbooks I don't need, or want, this.

I liked the second but not the third. I can think of a few sequels far worse, like Speed 2 for example...

Me too. They shouldn't waste their resources on the sequels.
But I'm not even sure I'll buy the first. As others have pointed out before, the UK steel is quite nice and basically enough for me. But I hold my final purchase decision until the slips are revealed.
