Wow that artwork where do I start. I just will not bother film is rubbish from what I have heard as well the trend followed through alright.

That doesn't look great IMO. The silver border is what spoils it, they should have used a different colour or just extended the pictures to the edges. I'm guessing the border will be there for some embossing.

why the silver boarder and logo, why not use the use the official logo colour and with a black or turtle green boarder.

I think this is one of those covers which will grow on people. I think it looks fantastic, but once people come around, it will be a modern classic.
