Love the UK SG range ... and the disc art is delightful too:-

Not so keen on the print heavy SG steelbooks from Italy and the artwork is not in the same league ...

SG steelbooks released in Germany of similar quality to the UK steelies artwork-wise but only about a handful released there and not yet THE CAT RETURNS.

It's true that Italy (x21) have been lucky with many more SG steelbook releases than we've had here in the UK (x10) ... and here's hoping we'll catch up sooner rather than later ...

Studio Ghibli steelbook spines ... Italy ... Phase one and Phase two (21 of 21) ...
... + UK SG spines (8 of 10):-

Lol... it makes me laugh each time I see this thread pop up in the forum. It's just the title of it 'The Cat returns'. I have no knowledge whatsoever about these series of films or studio Ghibli as it's not something that I believe I would ever have an interest in and is somewhat specific to an audience, but I must say the steelbooks look brilliant as a set. Such clean and neat designs, all matching perfectly.

happy days. :) just thought i'd post these seriously belated shots. :Snap:
i don't quite understand the logic of their release order, since Whisper of the Heart should really have come out before this as it's the first time you meet the Baron, but that's less of an issue now that that's finally out also. j-card details, should anyone still need them:
of all the Ghiblis, this is the one that seems most aimed at very young children. the plot is fairly insane, decidedly random things happy - even for Ghibli, and that it just ends. but it's fun and light and passes enjoyably. nice steelbook artwork, too:
i even like the internal artwork on this one :
worth picking up if you can find it.
