the best option is to restore and remaster the workprint footage and add these and all other unused scenes to the movie we know. perfect the crow version.
I don't think anyone can replace Brandon Lee at this movie, he was perfect for this part imho.

I did like the sequel but another one that tried to fill the shoes of the late great Brandon Lee, meh... he was good but still fell short of Brandon's charisma imho. Mia Kirshner was great though as well as Iggy Pop's character.

I thought the same, but did this one have anything to do with James O'Barr's The Crow ? I've only seen couple of episodes and did not care for it ...
I don't know what the original story is like, but after remaking the movie in the pilot, that series has been basically turned into 21 little standalone sequels, where he helps someone in each episode get avenged.
Original story is based/is a comic book. You haven't read it ? The art is terrible, but the story is there.
