Mentioned in numerous articles on web, including at Movie Web, this set will be released in 2013 and may be different than other sets released this year (2012). No other details yet.

Per Movie Web and HDRoom:

"Warner Bros. Home Entertainment also plans to release The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition in 2013."

The Dark Knight Trilogy Limited Edition Giftset with Exclusive premium book that digs deep into the trilogy's production. The SRP for this set is $52.99.

Thanks to Bluprint for sharing this info (his source: The HD Room). From that description, it sure sounds like it's going to be the same trilogy edition that other countries are receiving.

Yeah, this is a little unclear though. According to HD room there is a limited Edition coming December 4, but in the 1st paragraph they mention another ed coming in 2013.

Yeah, that sounds super confusing. So they're releasing a trilogy set and then releasing another trilogy set in 2013 that'll be even bigger? Sounds like they're going to be pissing off a lot of fans if that's what Warner's doing. That'd be like Marvel releasing the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 1 set this month without the briefcase and extra and then re-releasing it in 2013 with the briefcase and extras. That really doesn't make much sense.
