HBO has just brought online the teaser trailer for its new series, The Deuce. Created by author George Pelecanos alongside The Wire‘s David Simon, The Deuce follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world at the pioneering moments of what would become the billion-dollar American sex industry.

Good news. Was hoping it wouldn't be another 'Vinyl' that got cancelled after 1 season.

I've only seen the pilot yet but I loved it. Can't wait to see how this show develops.
David Simon can do no wrong imo. The Wire is some of the best tv ever made, also loved Treme etc. Everything he does feels so real. It's fu*king boss!
