As the vice president of the pedantic society, shouldn't the title of this thread be 'Devil's Advocate (Blu-ray Steelbook) (Amazon.co.uk Exclusive) [UK]' - in other words without the 'The')

If you're the Vice President then I must be the President. The original thread title was correct, the movie is officially called: The Devil's Advocate.

The film is good but the steelbook is a let down. Just flat and pretty boring no embossing/debossing, nothing.

It isn't like Stand By Me at all. In this instance the book and the film have the same title. In any case, I created the thread so I can call it what I want (at least until a mod comes along).

the bbfc have this registered as The Devil's Advocate, which as this is a legal registration...

It has "Devil's Advocate " as an alternate title.

The DVD/Blu-ray and VHS releases always only had the Title as Devil's Advocate

Devil's Advocate has always been the title used for the film
The Book Title is The Devil's Advocate
The Film Title is called Devil's Advocate

I add titles to the CM as it appears on the steelbook, so this will be added as Devil's Advocate

I'm going to avoid buying this one, they should have left the movie poster alone if they were going with this version, strange choice to add the flames all the way around and they should have left Charlize Theron on it too, would have been an improvement.
