I've noticed how the past 6-7 Disney Steelbook releases seem to have a larger number of paint defects/paint chips/misaligned embossing and scratches. I don't think this is a coincidence and it's probably a result of Scanavo cutting corners during manufacturing. I recommend dropping them an email at [email protected] or http://steelbook.com/contact/ if you've had the same experience. These problems aren't going to solve themselves.

It would be great if they could get something done before the next batch of Disney steelbooks are announced.

I don't think our HDN poll helped this title get released as we now know that pretty much all new releases (disney/Pixar/ marvel) will get steelbook releases from zavvi and now seem the norm that they go up for pre order the day they are released in the UK. Or just before.

The poll is just for zavvi and or disney to see what we want and for us to say "come on add these to the line"

I do hope they continue with some of the Classic titles not yet released. I remember reading somewhere they had plans to continue in 2015 but I might of dreamt that.
'm happy to have 6 months to a years break from the collection tho.
(Well maybe not a year)

It was already mentioned last year stayed tuned for more news in 2015
Then the poll was created

That's what the poll is for to help them decide what titles to release in 2015
It was requested by Zavvi/Disney to see which of the titles are wanted the most and overall interest the list was created by Zavvi/Disney for HDN

It's important all vote for titles they want including the new films so it's more accurate to show what films members want released and not to assume because a film is new or assume it's already popular it will happen
So the more votes the better
I myself voted for all of them to happen
There s few titles that most likely will now happen based on the number of votes

There are a few I would like to see happen but only got a few votes and would be difficult to sell

Okay, I thought @digitalbabe just created for buzz and to help zavvi and disney understand what we want. Didn't realise they requested it.

I still think going forward any disney animated, live action, pixar or marvel film will defo get a steelbook and for the UK it will always be zavvi (until something happens between them and the mouse house whether contracted issues or beef)
That's a lot of films coming out too considering all the marvel films annonced for the next 8 years all the pixar, disney animation and loads of live action. By live action I mean the ones like into the woods and maleficent coming out. So Cinderella, the jungle books, beauty and the beast, dumbo, Petes dragon etc

Pirates of the Caribbean-films
Disney Catalouge is huge with lots of possible releases

The Disney Classics were always a good start due to the history of Disney

I'm a massive fan of Disney films from films on video to music soundtracks and books

I expect we will also see when the new Star Wars film comes out something special happen

Oh yeah I know that but in my head I don't kinda count films like pirates and national treasure as live action disney films even tho they are lol Well i do but don't (don't even think I can explain myself there)
We have already had the original tron and the rocketeer and some others.

But yeah like yourself I'm a massive fan of disney, I really wana see bedknobs, song of the South, Petes dragon, return to oz and loads more to be released.

Oh yeah there will defo be Star Wars steels and I wouldn't be surprised if zavvi release the original 3 and newer 3 in seperate steels with (hopefully) the original poster art for them all like they did with Indy
