well it was only 100 copies (if its really sold out) and there are collectors out there that are willing to pay even double or triple price for an edition..

I agree, newly remastered or not it should be way cheaper. Even with the figurine and poster it should not be that price.

@AlienKing thanks for the tag mate. I'm a fan of the box set yes. I'm not a fan of that price though! Was able to get this same model and the 2013 version from Japan a couple of months back for about the same price as this single release. I guess because Zavvi are only getting 100 of them, they've upped the cost. Bad Zavvi.

I'm an Evil Dead fan and I own the first movie as a UK steelbook. I paid 10-11€ for it. I have zero interest in this edition at this price. Hell, even if you'd cut a 100€ off, it would still be way too expensive at 90€. Something like 40-50€ would be a justified price and I would pay that, but not a dime more.

The movie itself is just an Amaray case, which is ridicilous at this price. It should be either a steelbook or a digibook.
