was the quarter slip ever actually available anywhere? never seen it actually online @plainarchive and all other retailers didnt list it or are now cancelling orders...

isn't it listed on plain archive but sold out?

it seems to sell out but no limit size stated. maybe will come back in stock later?

Oh my bad, I thought this was a PA release, but it seems they, along with Propaganda, only worked on the design. Nevertheless, the packages are beautiful, and even though it's a pass for me right now, I may buy a copy down the track, because even though I found the movie to be overrated, I cant get some of the images and set pieces out of my head. By very definition, doesn't that make it a good film? One that stays with you? I'm so confused. It's the medication.

Yes, a good movie film makes one think about it even years later. :)

But reading about a movie before watching it can raise one's expectations too much or even give one the wrong expectations, such that one's experience of it will be muted. That's why I avoid reading anything about a film, even its genre if possible, before watching it. Most of my best film experiences come from knowing close to zero about the film beforehand. :)

Does anyone know whether this is solely region code A or like some other Korean films region-free?
Good point @Moony CJEnt normally region lock their releases. Glad I didn’t preorder as I mistakenly thought this was a PA exclusive.

What's the difference exclusive to PA or not? They made design and it's already almost sold out everywhere.
Only 13 Type B copies left on novamedia

I would err on the side of caution as @Damon M pointed out CJ E&M discs are pretty much always locked these days. For some comparison's sake Snowpiercer was a CJ Kimchi exclusive steelbook and digipack dual release and those discs were locked. PA discs are always region free normally but might still be CJ in charge of pressing them and sticking to Region A.. one of the few publishers in Korea who insist on it and I really don't know why they bother honestly.

The reason I guess is the European distributors would only want pay high for the rights to Region B if the Region A discs are locked.

Similar I think to the reason some Korean releases of Japanese movies do not have English subtitles because the English-speaking region distributors want exclusive rights to English subtitling.

I wish there's a way we consumers can effect a change in these region-locked and exclusive subtitling practices.

Pre-ordered the full slip A as soon as I saw the link available. Glad I did. My order from Plain Archive only charged $18 for shipping.
