This quote by MarcusDes on the Empire website sums it up for me: "And there I was, thinking the theatrical version was waaaaayyyyy too long.... And hoping for a diminished edition..."

I liked the film, saw it twice in the cinema, but they should have cut out about 20 minutes of the theatrical version, if this was always planned.
