Are they seriously going to be making this limited to a few hundred copies? What is wrong with them?

It's only a few hundred of the double pack. The steels are also going to be sold separately and those separate runs should be more like the normal print runs.

Or at least that's how it usually works.

Going to be hard to beat Jock's artwork. Steelbooks don't get any better than the Play version, and the DE version isn't too far behind it. I actually view the DE artwork as exceptional & superior to the Play version, but Play's legit debossing tops it. If anything, I think this release will spark a bit more interest in the Play version and the DE version for the cheapies, even though it's not "cheap" by any means.

This is awesome news!

BUT ... what is a double-pack?

If it's both films in a single steelbook, then what happens if KimchiDVD have ambitions of making a steelbook for the final film? It could get awkward.

My personal preference is to keep it simple, and produce creative and unique steelbooks for each film. Good luck guys

Its both steelbooks presented in one slipcover/box.
Which would still mean that a third film wouldn't fit in with it unless they leave a gap of course.

It wont be 2 discs in one steel, it will be some sort of pack with 2 steels, one for each movie. These will also be available as single purchases, so the choice is yours.

i'm not someone who double dips so I will stick with the play.com versions-besides this has just been announced-UK Raid 2 is out in a few weeks!!!

Oh no ! I thought there was an update...:grumpy::arghh:

Looking forward to this as I just did not like the UK version....:stop:
