Marvel's Thor 3 Moving Forward with Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost Scripting!

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=114160

On the heels of yesterday's news about Captain America: The Winter Soldier helmers Anthony and Joe Russo signing on for Captain America 3 comes word on another Marvel Studios sequel. Marvel announced today that Senior Vice President of Production and Development Craig Kyle will script Thor 3 alongside the returning Christopher Yost (who, with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely scripted Thor: The Dark World from a story by Don Payne and Robert Rodat).

"I am proud of Craig and have enjoyed working with him over these past years," President of Production Kevin Feige said in a prepared statement. "His creative instincts have helped shape 'Thor' and 'Thor: The Dark World' at every level of the filmmaking process. The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure.”

Kyle began his career at Marvel Studios in 2001 as the sole Creative Executive for the company’s animation division. In 2003, Craig co-created the character X-23, an adolescent female clone of Marvel’s popular character Wolverine. She was introduced into the comic book mainstream a year later, becoming one of the most popular new characters from Marvel over the last decade. Craig has developed, produced and written numerous animated series and oversaw the development and production of Marvel’s original animated direct-to-DVD projects including Ultimate Avengers: I & II, Invincible Iron Man, Hulk VS, Next Avengers, Doctor Strange, Planet Hulk and Thor: Tales of Asgard. During his many years with Marvel, Craig co-wrote a series of top selling X-Men comics including "New X-Men," "X-23: Innocence Lost" and "X-Force" (also with Yost). Kyle was promoted to SVP of Production and Development of Marvel Studios’ live-action division five years ago.

Marvel Studios currently has three mystery titles on their schedule: One on July 8, 2016, one on May 6, 2016 and one set for July 8, 2017. Could one of those dates wind up getting filled by Thor 3? Check back for further updates as soon as they become available.

Saw this on Wednesday with IMAX Digital and this exceeded all expectations for me in every way. Absolutely hilariously funny, everyone was on form and it was just 130 mins of pure sci-fi fun with dazzling spectacle. I thought it was better than the GOTG movies and that’s a bold statement because I adore those as well!

Saw this yesterday with the wifey and my sister  Everybody loved it :)

Saw it today with my brother. It was the best Thor! I love Cate but she is a stepsister to Thor like Loki (ODIN got around :p). I gave it a 3.5/5.. I'm happy everyone enjoyed it

Yep i'm sure about this. Damn Loki :D

I’m pretty sure this is what will happen. Also if you’ve seen the leaked infinity war footage it starts with Thor floating in space so I assume Loki gives it to thanos (who must be in the ship at the end of ragnarok) and he tried destroying them or they have a small fight causing Thor to float through space or Loki just gives it up (but seeing as Thor is there they probably try putting up a fight).

I'm usually easy to win with the Marvel and DC movies, I see the flaws but I'm always the one in the conversations who will find the most far-fetched reasons to redeem them. SO, Thor Ragnarok had moments that made me rise my eyebrows but I loved it so much !

I have a few things I'd like to discuss again though : spoiler alert.

2) Did Bruce Banner die, at least for a minute ? When Bruce jumps from the spaceship to fight Hela's Fenris wolf believing he'll turn into Hulk in a second he just crashes onto the floor (which, because of all the jokes of the movie, I knew would happen) BUT he's definitely dead. I thought he would be moving a finger or something but he was just plain dead! I wonder if this will have a repercussion or if we should just look it as one more joke.

Seen it yesterday and it was brilliant.
@jeremycanrana you got a point at the hulk, which make me think. you can be right, let's wait for Infinity War. But the Scene was brilliant..

I don't think he died. If you recall in Avengers 1 he tells Black Widow he put a gun to his head and the big guy spit the bullet back out, but how could Hulk change that quick. I just think there is a barrier from him dying. Though I will say he did not change back to bruce

Seen it yesterday and it was brilliant.
Thor with One Eye and as real God of Thunder looks so fn Bad Ass.

This just upsets me more...

also i am not sure but IIRC the D23/SDCC footage showed him with both eyes when he lands on the milano.

I thought his lightning ability would somehow heal him, like hes really made of lightning so he could regenerate

I was holding off on watching this film because I didn't like the things I was hearing about it... My brother told me it was good and he thought I'd like it, nope, one of the worst Marvel films to me, I really didn't care for it.
