Solid list @kaw. Sing Street is a movie everyone should watch, what a great under-rated movie. Sadly I havent seen half the ones on your list. Im so behind on movies this year, that combined with the fact that IMO it has been a pretty bad movie year in general I dont even think I have 10 movies that I like that were released this year.

I've still a lot to check out, so my list probably won't be complete until sometime next year.

I can at least give my current Top 5 though, which are based on UK release dates FYI...

Not really. I usually only get to see a lot of the films releases when they hit TV and I only saw about 12 films in 2016 and only a couple of them grabbed my attention. Ask me in 2018 and I'll be able to give you a firm answer

I've been spending this month catching up on my 2016 films BIG TIME. My Top 10 has changed quite a bit so far. Give it another few weeks and I'll update my picks. I'm actually putting together a Top 30 list just because all the films in it are worth a mention.

I like doing this, too. People often don't understand that there's a huge difference between favourite and best. I know something like La La Land is better than Captain America, but I'd much rather watch Captain America.

Well, most of those on my "Best of" list are also favorites, especially La La Land, but I just wanted to clarify that there were other movies that other people had on their top ten that, while I loved them, I didn't necessarily think that they could be considered the best.
